Thank you to everyone who has completed their Backerkit survey! We spent all day printing, packing, and getting your Runbells ready—they’ll be in the mail tomorrow!

You should have received an email from Shippo with your tracking number. Tracking updates will appear as the packages are picked up.

Shipping Information

• US Orders: Shipping from Portland, OR, via USPS Ground Advantage.
• International Orders: Also shipping from Portland, OR. Most are shipping via FedEx. Some are shipping via USPS or UPS where necessary.

Incomplete Surveys

So far, 80% of backers have completed their surveys, but we’re still waiting on the final 20%. If you haven’t received your survey email, please check your spam folder or search your inbox for “Backerkit.” We’ll continue shipping new survey submissions weekly until we’ve fulfilled all orders.

Runbells are Ready to Ship!

We've had a busy few weeks since the end of our campaign and we are almost ready to ship out your Runbells!

Visiting our Factory in Japan

We just got back from Japan on Monday. We confirmed the Runbells look and feel great. Our first batch is complete and ready for shipment. We brought back two cases as luggage for quick fulfillment to all of you, our Kickstarter backers, while the rest of the order will take more time and come by boat.

Backerkit Surveys are Coming This Week

Soon, you’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.

You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, purchase add-on items if you like, and purchase shipping. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!

After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the survey on Saturday and get our final counts.

If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://runbell.backerkit.com.

If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your account, the BackerKit survey is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact support athttps://runbell.backerkit.com/faq.

Exciting News! New Stretch Goal!

We've heard your requests for even more color options, and we’re making it happen! After the campaign, you'll have the chance to vote on a special "backer’s choice" color—but we need to reach our new stretch goal of $15,000 to bring this color to life. That’s where you come in!

Goal Reached! - Mass Production Has Begun!

Color Options Vote

Thank you all for taking the time to vote over the past week. We have a clear winner for matte black which is our $15k stretch goal and we're confident that we'll make it in the next few weeks. We also love the wish for a glossy red version.

Updates on Production

Spring Testing

Runbell 3.0 is our best product ever with top notch quality control. We're so proud to share the pictures below. And a special shout out to our amazing Japanese manufacturing partners. They are true craftsman. 

We tested the spring/hammer assembly three times. In round 1 the spring stiffened up early. We adjusted. In round 2 the spring lasted longer, but stiffened up eventually. We adjusted again. Then in round 3, our spring assembly made it through 30,000 uses without any failure! We love this build and design. 

Packaging Design

Our sample packaging design also arrived late last week and looks amazing. We really love this innovative packaging and can't wait to share it with you all.
